Allows banning of users and entire countries by IP address, or by Steam Group.
Countries are blacklisted by their 2 character ISO 3166-1 code one per line.
Also has an aggressive ban mode to help prevent users circumventing bans with VPNs or proxies.
Turn on Aggressive Banning: Any user banned by IP or Steam Group will have their Steam ID added to the game's internal ban list.
Turn on Track Ingame Bans: Any user banned ingame will have their IP address added to the IP ban list.
If you use both options and Steam Group banning, any member of a banned group will also be banned by Steam ID and IP address. Since Torch tracks who owns the copy of SE a client is using, they cannot use Family Share to bypass a ban. The only way to get around a Steam ID and IP ban is to purchase a new copy of SE and use a VPN, making it pretty costly for a bad user to evade bans.
Future releases will include a way to sync ban lists with other server admins, as well possibly a global ban list (details pending), and hardware tracking to even more permanently ban a particularly troublesome user.
